Contacts Overview
Contacts represent the parties involved in tickets — the organisations, departments, or individuals that complaints are filed with or against.

Contact Types
| Type | Use For |
|---|---|
| Authority | Government bodies, regulators, or statutory authorities |
| Company | Private businesses and corporations |
| Department | A specific department within a larger organisation |
| Individual | A named person |
Relationship to Tickets
A single contact can be linked to many tickets. When viewing a contact, you can see a paginated list of all tickets filed with that contact.
When a contact is soft-deleted, the contact link on existing tickets is preserved and still shows the archived contact's details.
